Definitions, Terminology and Clarifications

Ship-ready date
means the day your classroom is finished and ready for transportation.
Your School and the General Contractor will receive confirmation of your ship-ready date in advance for planning and payment purposes.
We will supply you with the "anticipated" ship-ready date upon your approval of drawings, color selections, option placement locations, etc.  You will be notified of date adjustments to accurately plan for the ship-ready date.

FOB means "freight on board".
Further, this means transportation costs are not included in your classroom purchase.  This cost will be a part of your Installation and included on your General Contractor's invoice.

Factory lead time
Manufacturing line space is secured in sequence as orders are received.   Your early order will aid in timely project completion.  We will work with all schools and the General Contractors' equally to create efficient scheduling solutions.  Expect not less than 60 days from Purchase Order date to the ship-ready date.  We advise you to order at the soonest possible date to secure your line space.

Ship-Ready Classrooms

Seasonally, during high demand, Equipment Supply will build and inventory classrooms for immediate delivery.  Inquire for availability and specification.

Classroom Pricing will be updated on this web site the first day of each calendar quarter.  Receipt date of your Purchase Order will secure the current quarter pricing.

State Insignia's
The States of Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Alaska and Hawaii have jurisdictional authority over factory built structures, which includes your new classrooms.  Insignias are metal placards produced by your respective State.   Stamped upon the Insignias are the serial numbers and building code compliance criteria relating to your specific building.
Example: If your classroom destination is Washington, Labor and Industries will approve your classroom design and will inspect the building while under construction at the  Blazer factory.  Labor and Industries exercises strict control over the production and application of State Insignia's to your specific building.
Oregon is governed by Department of Buildings and Codes.

Insurance

After your classroom has been paid in full and is awaiting shipping, it is fully insured by the
manufacturer while at the factory.

While your classroom is in transit from the factory to your school site, it is fully insured by the licensed and bonded transportation company, which has been hired by the General Contractor.
While your classroom is being installed, the structure and installation process is fully insured by the General Contractor.
Certificates of insurance available upon your request.

Prevailing Wage Compliance
The General Contractor is responsible for prevailing wage paperwork compliance; and will invoice your public school with normal billing terms for transportation, installation, ramp, etc.
There is no prevailing wage paperwork that applies to the classroom itself or your classroom purchase.
Prevailing wages and associated paperwork for on-site installation are applicable to public schools and all municipalities.

Warranty
One year manufacturer's warranty against defects in building materials or workmanship.  HVAC systems have manufacturer's warranties extending to 5 years from ship-ready date.
Contact Equipment Supply directly for all warranty claims.

Before Occupancy
You will receive a manufacture's package containing maintenance and operation manuals with warranty cards for the individual components of your new building.
After your floor coverings are installed by others, it is suggested you operate your HVAC system  with maximum outdoor air intake for a break-in period of one to three days.
